The Sprints

The Sprints are a band of teenagers that live on the South Shore of Massachusetts. They are a four-piece consisting of Matt Bartkus (Vocals, Guitar), Maggie Dineen (Vocals, Bass), Kyle Strauss (Lead Guitar), and Kyle Tolini (Drums). They formed several years ago through the South Shore Conservatory, and now play out of Bosse School of Music. Recently the Sprints have rocked many small bars and venues such as The C Note in Hull. The band plays originals and covers inspired by alternative and indie artists. This will be The Sprints' third Porchfest, and they are psyched to be a part of it!

The Nice Marmots

The Nice Marmots, from the Quincy, Massachusetts metropolitan area, are Irina Cashen on vocals, Ketut Suwastawan and Tom Emswiler on guitar, Winston Féliz on keyboards, Benny Appleby on bass guitar, and Brian Carey on drums. With influences including the Police, Paul Simon, Rilo Kiley, Lucinda Williams, and REM, The Nice Marmots produce singer-songwriter pop tunes that leave audiences humming and maybe even nodding along. The band began playing music in 2013 with Irina and Tom. After playing covers for a year, The Nice Marmots began writing their own songs. They recorded basement demos to fine tune their craft and find their sound. With open mics and porchfests under their belt, The Nice Marmots entered the studio in Summer 2017 to record their debut EP, A Lotta Ins, A Lotta Outs, available from Bandcamp. Later that year Winston and Ketut joined, followed by Brian and Benny in the 2020s. The six members now produce a wall of sound. Music videos and more are available at…

TOKYO TRAMPS

Hailing from the Land of Rising Sun (Japan), TOKYO TRAMPS is a group of American roots music fanatics. The musical journey started when Satoru Nakagawa (guitar/vocal) left Japan to go to Louisiana searching for the spirit of Rock'n'Roll. Soon he found the key, Blues. Yukiko Fujii (bass/vocal) left a lucrative job in Tokyo and took a giant step following her heart to play American music. Then in 1999, TOKYO TRAMPS was born in Boston. Satoru took its name TRAMPS from his early idol, Bruce Springsteen's song, Born To Run - "Tramps like us, baby, we were born to run."..... Satoru says, “American music changed our lives. We are creating something very unique and exciting. We are making our dreams come true every time we play.” They are extensively performing in New England area and had released 7 original albums. The latest, "If I Die Tomorrow" is a unique mix of Jimi Hendrix guitar sound and New Orleans modern funk.
