Spaces for Two
Spaces For Two began in 2015 when Bob and David met through a posting on Craigslist. Bob had a backlog of songs that he had written but never produced. Luckily for Bob, David had been writing, arranging and recording music for years and they worked up a dozen songs quickly. The original intention was to produce the music and perform as an indie-rock band. Like any project, finding the right members took some time and it wasn’t until 2016 before the band was ready to rock. The first record Gone For The Show captured this side of the band and was met with critical acclaim in early 2017. While the band was in flux, David and Bob produced a handful of tunes without drums and this became Believe released in late 2017. On The Dial was to contain 10 songs and represent a cross section of the previous styles. David and Bob instead decided to release On The Dial as a chronology that documented all songs recorded between 2015 and 2018. When playing live Spaces For Two adjusts their set list, arrangements and instrumentation to fit any venue, whether stripped-down with Bob on acoustic guitar and David on vocals and keys, or as a full-on band. Through the years Spaces For Two has been incredibly fortunate to have many talented members as part of the band, each bringing their own style, influences and collaborative spirit.
