Revival with the South Shore Children's Chorus
Returning to Porchfest for the third year, Revival is a folk group, composed of music teachers and based in Quincy. Ranging from folk legends like Bob Dylan and Pete Seeger to country’s roots with the Carter Family and Jean Ritchie, Revival’s songs will transport you across the mountains and through the coal mines of the country’s heartland to a simpler time.
The Intermediate Choir and Training Choir of the South Shore Children's Chorus will be performing a set with Revival. The mission of the South Shore Children’s Chorus is to provide quality musical education and vocal training to students living in the South Shore communities and beyond. SSCC keeps the development and well-being of our students as our top priority, and aims to create a safe space and loving community for choristers to learn, to grow, and to find their own voice.
