Boston-based trio Away Message traverses time and musical genres to create their own blend of indie-pop with a folk-rock twist. Drawing inspiration from 90s and early 20s culture, their songs range from wistful ballads to revenge epics, infusing humor and heart into every lyric and infectious melody along the way. Per Diem
Per Diem is an Oldies and Classic Rock Band playing the great songs you remember of the 50s to 70s. We put tears in the eyes of
elegant ladies as they revisit their youth, singing the songs of their teenage years. We pack the dancefloor with eager partiers with
smiles as bright as the Sun.
Per Diem is the brainchild of pro drummer, Mike Martin. Baritone John Ahl frames the music with an incomparable golden tone. The
sensational lead guitar work of Phil Brigham gives a Per Diem show an edge like no other. The band is buoyed by the solid bass of Tom Pattavina.
We’re not loud; Mike swears he hasn’t broken a stick in 30 years. We do make an impact and we do leave them wanting more. Unlike other bands,
we don’t prepare set lists. We read the room and provide the excitement.
